We have had a fun week. On Sunday we went to Salt Lake Temple Square to commemorate the 10th anniversary of our engagement (our 10th wedding anniversary is on Oct. 23). It was fun to take the kids and reminisce. Wow! Ten years. Three college degrees, three kids, 8 moves (one move out of state), two houses, weddings and children for many friends and family members later, and countless blessings later. It's amazing to think how far we've come! It was interesting to thing back 10 years and how much has changed at Temple Square. No Main Street Plaza, Reflecting Pool, or Conference Center then.
Today we went to the zoo with the kids and Tyson and Ashley. There have been some great changes to that place in the last 5 years since I have been. We enjoyed the Elephant and Asian sanctuaries, the white alligator, and the carousel. It was fun to have the kids enjoy at all the places we enjoyed as children -- the gorilla sizer, the lion drinking fountain, and the smells of the reptile house. Miles even had fun even though I got sunscreen in his eye...

Glad to see the carousel is up and running at the zoo (we had some very unhappy ladies on our hands when we went and it wasn't open yet). Carter had the same memory of the Lion drinking fountains!
How sweet!! What's even cooler is that the pic of you two ten years later is of just as good looking a couple. (Something to shoot for... hmm.. ;-) What a fun time!
